Are you able to buy just the revised sections because I already own the book test and audio

No, the revised sections are not sold separately. But this revised edition text is compatible with the Tests for the original edition, so you can still use those. And 99% of the words are the same, so if you have the older audio, you won’t notice much difference at all. Most of the changes are in new/better illustrations, maps, and layout.

    • Answer Desk (verified owner)

Volume 1 is written primarily for grades 1–4; Volume 2 for grades 2–5; Volume 3 for grade 3–6; Volume 4 for grades 4–8. The maps and
many of the activities in this book are also appropriate for children in grades 4–8.

As far as reading the text, it can be a read aloud for younger students and independent reading for older students.

Many people use the Text with the Activity Book for multiple levels, but we do not advise Volume 4 any earlier than fourth grade.
