    Great … but

The good and not so good (for OUR family):
This is what I was looking for. It has a great flow and order for teaching. I love the set up of these lesson, but we use them daily, not weekly. Even giving elaboration to the lessons, I have no idea how we could possibly stretch it out to a one week lesson. At this rate, we will be done with the whole series within the year (1st grade.) For example, the first lesson is 2 scriptures. Reading the same two scriptures everyday is boring to the kids. I like how the author gives the passage (we read it directly from the Bible)— then he gives a comparative story for the kids to get a visual. Due to the fact that the story is so well written, it really doesn’t need to be revisited all week, especially for elementary age kids… maybe preschool? There are activities available. I don’t love them, but with some being coloring pages, etc., it just isn’t something that you could expand all week and keep the kids engaged. I would recommend using it as a devotional… because it is pretty short and sweet. It is perfect for that purpose! The author IS great!
