Description: Read, Write & Type is a keyboarding program designed for young students that combines typing skills with phonics, spelling, and word processing. Although we generally prefer students to write by hand in the elementary grades, students who struggle with dysgraphia, dyslexia, or other processing difficulties can benefit greatly from the multi-sensory, motor-focused approach. Early keyboarding (combined with ongoing handwriting practice at an appropriate level) can allow dysgraphic and dyslexic students to advance in reading and writing skills rather than being held back by fine motor difficulties or visual processing problems.
