Famous Figures of the Middle Ages & Renaissance
$11.96 – $18.66
Unlike regular paper dolls, these figures move – a great resource for hands-on history! From Ghengis Khan to Joan of Arc, this volume includes twenty-one sturdy figures from the Middle Ages and Renaissance times to cut out and assemble.
Product Overview
Set sail with Leif Eriksson, ride into battle with Joan of Arc or Genghis Khan, or befriend birds, beasts, and people with the peaceful Francis. This set of 21 movable paper figures to cut, color, and assemble allows children to act out the history they’ve been reading, or even create new stories using famous people from both medieval and Renaissance times. A brief biographical note on each figure is also included, along with a list of resources.
This set is an excellent accompaniment to The Story of the World, Volume 2. And, in addition, your house is too quiet. It needs a reason for someone to yell, “Mommmmmmm! Tell Francis of Assisi to stop beating up Genghis Khan!” Anticipating your needs, we happen to offer such a reason.
Add two 100-count boxes of mini-brads and a 1/8-inch hole punch for everything you need to create these figures.
FIGURES INCLUDED:
Emperor Justinian, Empress Theodora, Charlemagne, Leif Eriksson, William the Conqueror, Richard the Lionheart, Genghis Khan, Francis of Assisi, Marco Polo, Suleiman the Magnificent, Joan of Arc, Gutenberg, Columbus, Isabella, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Martin Luther, King Henry VIII, Queen Elizabeth I, Shakespeare, Galileo

Using it in the classroom does require a license, but we have a specialized license for Famous Figures that makes it very affordable. Please reach out to [email protected] with the title and number of students, and we’ll be happy to quote you.
