My experience in the public school has been shocking. They are just meeting state needs. Not autism specific but to use autism as a reason they only did as well as they di. Finally out of public school with a diploma, we have to start over. Where to begin? What are people using to facilitate language for strong visual thinkers. Any help would be appreciated. Receptive language is stronger than expressive language. Was reading on a college level. Comprehension or just expressing thoughts must include options. She has spent so much time being told what to do rather than asking questions, etc. I”d appreciate all answers. Finally found a and out of state. Doing well, now.
