This workbook, along with the corresponding Answer Key and the required Core Instructor Text, make up Grammar for the Well-Trained Mind: a complete course that takes students from basic definitions through advanced sentence structure and analysis – all the grammar skills needed to write and speak with eloquence and confidence, with the regular review needed for mastery.
There are four Workbooks; they are non-sequential and do not need to be done in a particular order. Each Workbook contains the same rules and examples – but each has completely different sets of exercises and assignments, allowing students to develop a wide-ranging knowledge of how the rules and examples are put to use in writing. This repetition solidifies the concepts, definitions, and examples in the student's mind.

GftWTM works on a cycle versus being sequential, so you can start with any color workbook, the corresponding Answer Key, and the Core Instructor Text.
You will use that same Core Instructor Text when you move on to a different color workbook.

You can start with any color workbook; they are non-sequential. Each color works with the same principles taught in the Core Instructor Text, with different exercises/examples.
So you need any color workbook and its matching Answer Key, and the Core Instructor Text (which you will use for all workbooks)
