Every child can have a great start in math with this active, game-based approach. You will be guided step-by-step through each fun but purposeful activity, helping the student develop a thorough understanding of the numbers up to ten and simple addition & subtraction in just five minutes a day.
You’ll be amazed at how much math your preschooler will learn in just five minutes a day! With these simple activities, your child will develop a thorough understanding of the numbers up to ten, and will be ready to tackle kindergarten math with enthusiasm and confidence.
All of the activities are quick and playful, with lots of movement and games and no special materials needed (just a few household items). The focus is on five key skills that help young children build a solid math foundation: counting, subitizing (recognizing quantities without counting), recognizing written numerals, comparing numbers, and joining and taking away (beginning addition and subtraction).

Me and both of my kids love this book.
With a very parent friendly text and the pictures that my kids love to count and compare. And those last pages and games that you suggest are awesome too.
Thanks a lot for this, Kate.

I found this book an easy to use resource for teaching my 3 year old math concepts. Counting was the primary concepts and I didn’t realize how abstract math could be to a young child. The book is full of hands on fun approaches. I would highly recommend this book.
