Math educator Kate Snow gives parents the tools they need to teach math with confidence. This scripted, open-and-go program leads parents’ step-by-step through teaching all the concepts a kindergartner needs to master: counting to 100, writing numbers, beginning addition and subtraction, shapes and patterns, coins, time, and measurement. Short, lively lessons will hold a child’s attention by incorporating movement, games, and everyday household objects. Simple, colorful worksheets prepare kindergartners for pencil-and-paperwork that they’ll encounter in first grade. Snow demystifies math by including recommendations for wonderful math picture books to enjoy together, plus specific ways to help children apply math to real life throughout the week.

Beyond just telling parents what to do, Kindergarten Math With Confidence also helps them understand why the lessons are designed the way they are, giving them the knowledge and confidence to help their children learn.

Using Kindergarten Math With Confidence will allow parents to build a strong math foundation for their children.

5 out of 5 We are loving this curriculum!!

I have twins and we started this curriculum a few months ago. Obviously, we haven’t finished it yet, but so far it has been awesome! My girls absolutely love all the games that are included. They don’t even recognize that they’re learning and they don’t complain about doing math. There are tons of fun activities included where the kids get to include some of their toys and stuffed animals. I love that I get to play with them as part of our math lesson! This curriculum is really so wonderful. I taught kindergarten in a public school, and what I wouldn’t have given for a hands-on curriculum like this that is SO easy to differentiate. I can’t wait for the first-grade option to become available. Thanks for a great open-and-go teacher’s guide and a fun workbook that never inspires frustration or anger.

  2. Question

Hi there! Is this program ok for someone in Canada do you know? Its nothing States specific or anything? Thanks!

    • Hi Kelsey, Kindergarten Math with Confidence does cover counting and units of measurement using US standards as examples, but provides detailed instructions regarding how to adapt these lessons using your country’s currency and units of measurement. It also provides pattern block options in both inches and centimeters. You should have no trouble at all using the program in Canada.
