    Tara Lord

If I purchase the pdf, may I print out the lesson for my child to complete? I do not want them to do it on the screen.

There aren’t any tests/quizzes available for FLL. If you think it would benefit your student, you can make your own by pulling from the exercises. You could alter them slightly if you wish, but it’s usually not necessary if it’s been a week or two since the student has done the exercise.

We love this curriculum. The lessons are crystal clear and avoid fluff. I offered to switch grammar companies to my 8 year old daughter and she insisted that we stick with this book because the lessons are short and sweet and she is learning a ton! I appreciate that this is classical education.

Advanced content with a kid-friendly delivery method (a.k.a. minimal amount of writing) and open-and-go format. Could be finished in 1 to 1-1/2 years for 3rd-5th graders or in a few months for older students.

Some topics covered include: nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs; be verbs, helping verbs, linking verbs, prepositional phrases, direct objects, predicate nominatives, predicate adjectives.

I’m now teaching my fourth student using this grammar curriculum. It is straightforward and I appreciate the structure of the program. It moves in appropriate increments and works with a variety of learning styles. I highly recommend it.
