Product Overview

This Famous Figures set allows children to act out the history they’ve been reading, or even create new stories using famous people from ancient times. The book presents 20 historical figures – kings, generals, philosophers, religious leaders, and scholars – in both pre-colored and color-them-in versions, to cut out and assemble into moveable action figures.

A brief biographical note on each figure is also included, along with a list of resources. Perfect to accompany The Story of the World, Volume 1.

Add two 100-count boxes of mini-brads and a 1/8-inch hole punch for everything you need to create these figures.

Are these duplicates of the coloring pages in the SOTW Vol.1 activity book, or are they entirely different? Is it possible to get a “look inside” at a sample pre-colored page and/or a page with the bio note and resources? Thanks!

    • Press Minion

These are totally different, and were created by a different company’s artists!

It’s only paper dolls with movable joints, but it actually goes quite well with Story of the World 1! My girls have enjoyed them with our history lessons.

How many dolls come in each book? What is the material of the doll? Do you have a package deal with all the books?

    • Press Minion

At this time we do not have a package deal where you can get all the books at once. You’d need to buy them singly. The dolls are made of sturdy cardstock. The number varies: Ancient Times–21 dolls; Middle Ages & Renaissance–21 dolls; Early Modern Era–21 dolls; American Revolution–10 dolls; Civil War–10 dolls.
