Great Books

Look, we know it feels like you don’t have time to read (except for catching up on Facebook statuses on your phone, in the bathroom, while tiny fingers scrabble under the door for your attention), and that you’d rather make conversational references to Orwell, Tolstoy, Hawking or Austen than to Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami (not that there’s anything wrong with that show, and wasn’t it hilarious when Khloe got addicted to Cuban coffee?, and don’t make more than one conversational reference to Tolstoy per day, if you want to retain ANY friends)…anyway, The Well-Educated Mind is a friendly guide through literature, poetry, and history, with tips on how to get the most out of a book…like being introduced to the Great Conversation by someone who’s totally normal and has both A Brief History of Time and People Magazine on her bookshelf.
